“I love astrology, it’s one of my big things. I actually have a tattoo between my shoulder blades of my constellation. The Pisces constellation. My friend did it on my top bunk at like 5:30 in the morning. He’s also trans and he ordered tattooing needles off of etsy or something like that and we went to an art shop and got ink that’s safe for your skin and stuff. He’s really good at it. He’s covered in stick and poke tattoos, it’s so fun.
I’m going into my junior year of high school and I enjoy writing. Writing is...I’ve been writing since I was like a preschooler! My mom was a reading coach at Vincent when I still went there. And so, preschool was until 12pm and so I would go in her little office and I would say what I wanted her to write and she would type it for me and then she would print it off. And I’ve been doing that ever since I was little. In the 1st grade, I went to a young author’s convention for a little journal entry I wrote. It was called “My New Fish.” Cause’ we had little journal entries and my birthday was coming up and I really wanted some fish cause’ we couldn’t keep big dogs or anything in our trailer. So, my mom was like ‘I’ll get you some fish.’ And I was so excited! Little me, like with my drawings - everyone’s belly button had to be showing. Everyone wore crop tops. No joke, like everyone. It didn’t matter if you were a guy, a girl, non-binary. It doesn’t matter. You had a crop top on and your belly button was showing in all my work.”
